He has toured all four continents and has graced stages with the who’s who of jazz such as Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius, Frank Morgan, Wallace Roney, Jackie & Rene McLean, James Moody, Gary Bartz, Archie Shepp, Reggie Workman, Joe Zawinul, Cedar Walton, Wood Shaw, McCoy Tyner, and Pepper Adams. He has been featured on over 100 recordings.

Burrage is also known as an innovative composer who puts together dramatic musical programs which are deeply and all together entertaining.

Burrage’s latest recording “Heal” with ‘Band Burrage’ blends fusion, hard bop, rock and pop elements in a diverse, contemporary fashion. Influenced by groups including Wayne Shorter, U.K., Milton Nascimento, Weather Report, Miles Davis, Radio Head, Kendrick Lamar, Yes, Tribe Called Quest, Funkadelics, Sly & The Family Stone, Alan Holdsworth, Stevie Wonder.
